INDIGENOUS SCHOLARSHIPS: We are planning to create scholarships for two indigenous students from the Amazon region to study human rights and international law.

CONSELHO INDIGENA DE RORAIMA –CIR:In 2008 in collaboration with the Conselho Indígena de Roraima (CIR), World in Harmony sent funds to support the indigenous communities of the Raposa Serra do Sol region of Brazil to defend their rights to their land and its resources (on which their livelihoods depend). In 2009 the Federal Supreme Court ruled that this region would be reserved for the sole use of the 19,000 indigenous people.
